As we care for the dearly departed, it is important for us to also offer care for the departed. I was inspired by the 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman, and my favourite language is physical touch. It is unfortunate that many family members may not be given the opportunity to help perform this final act of service: physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, and gifts. This all started with the movie Departures.
