Writing in Bahasa Indonesia, a language I am not so fluent in. I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, but moved to Singapore when I was 7. I am conversant in the language, though my vocabulary remains at the level of a 7-year-old. Still, I've noticed that there are things which only writing in my original tongue can elicit, alongside an honesty that can only (be allowed to) arise when one's grasp of words is weak.
